2008 Simi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

Big forward fruit aromas of Blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, blueberry and plum accented with mineral notes, toast, roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a lifted note of cedar. On the palate the wine has a rich and focused entry that builds to a round full middle finishing with smooth ripe tannins resembling dark chocolate. Balancing big, bold, ripe flavors of black cherry, red plum, cassis with smokey, toasty notes and sweet herbs (sage & tarragon) and structured tannins, giving the promise of aging well for decades to come
